All art materials are provided, and every child will be given a beautiful brand-new sketchbook to take home and keep.

✏️ What Will We Be Doing?

Across the day, children will enjoy a variety of hands-on art activities, including:

• Sketching and drawing inspired by picture books (including tracing as a way to learn how artists see)

• Painting with acrylic paints

• Exploring soft pastels and blotting paper

• Creative sketchbook prompts and quiet drawing time

We’ll take breaks for morning tea and lunch, and sprinkle the day with gentle, fun art games to keep energy high while still allowing plenty of calm, focused creating.

I’m a qualified primary educator with current First Aid certification and a Working With Children Check. I love helping children feel confident, capable and happy in their creativity — whether they already love drawing or are just starting to discover it.
